DINOSAURS IN SCHOOLS has been designed to exploit the universal truth that even the naughtiest boy (or girl) in the class cannot resist the attraction of dinosaurs AND neither can their teachers. As soon as our star attraction - a life-sized Deinonychus, or 'Terrible Claw' - is introduced to the pupils their attention is hooked and it is an experience that they will never forget.
The appeal of dinosaurs is so great that there is virtually nothing that a dinosaur project cannot tackle, from literacy, numeracy and science to history, geography, art and even music.
Fun interactive sessions!
All our sessions encourage pupils to think, ask questions, listen, observe, record information, place things in chronological order, connect places and ideas, and develop a myriad of other essential skills. We also aim to encourage an interest in, and an understanding of, the natural world and their place within it.
